I have no idea why they do these things. I think they get it from their father.

Ditto what V said. They would get on so well with my lot - I live with a bunch of crack pots too.
Oh, and I meant to tell you that the kids have been solitaire-obsessed over the vacation so I taught them to play Kings in the Corner. We're still working out a few rules but they love it.
